What does Doodie Deeds Do?
Doodie Deeds is a dog waste removal (Pooper Scooper) company that will thoroughly clean your yard free of dog waste. (Please Note: we do not haul the waste away. We will double bag it and place it in your trash can or a designated area of your choosing)
Why hire a pooper scooper to clean your lawn?
How often does your company come out?
Most of our customers prefer our pooper scooper service once or twice a week.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No, we can start and stop your service anytime with a phone call or email.
How do I pay?
Doodie Deeds is a pre-paid service. Monthly customers will be invoiced on the 11th of each month. Payment must be received on the 26th of each month to continue service. Payment for one time customers must be rendered on the day of service in the form of a check or cash. We accept Cash or ACH, Debit and Major Credits Card.
Is there an extra charge for the first time clean-up?
Yes, there may be an extra charge for the first pooper scooper service if there has been a lot of accumulation of waste over time. This will be determined during the consultation.
Will you clean any yard?
Yes! There is a slightly higher charge for very large yards over the typical 1/4 acre size yard.
What about tall grass and leaves?
Doodie Deeds cannot service your yard thoroughly with heavy leaves, high grass, rocky areas or debris. We will do the best we can under these circumstances. If scooping becomes too difficult, service will be placed on hold until the yard is maintained. Your monthly rate will remain the same since your dog will still be using the yard.
Can you work with my dog in the yard?
Absolutely! We love dogs! If your dog is not good with strangers, or if your dog will not allow us to clean the yard, then we ask that you restrain or confine your dog. We do not want to take unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, we do not climb or jump over fences. Doodie Deeds must have unlimited access to the area to be serviced. If you have a lock on your gate, you must provide us with a key or lock combination so that we can service your yard. If your gate is locked when we arrive you will be charged for the service call that could not be completed. We will text you explaining the reason for the non-serviceable visit. Doodie Deeds will make sure your gate is locked when we leave.
Is your equipment sanitized?
Yes, in order to prevent the spread of infectious canine viruses, we sanitize all equipment before and after each visit with Bleach.
What do you do with the dog waste?
Collected dog waste is doubled bagged and disposed of in your trash.
Do you work through the winter?
Yes we work year round.
What happens when it rains or the weather is bad?
We'll work in most weather, but anything out of our control, like very heavy rain, lightning, flooding, freezing temperatures, ice, snow (As little as 1 inch of recent snowfall can impair our ability to locate waste) or any other severe weather may stop us. If we are unable to scoop,
we will return on your next scheduled service day. Your monthly rate will remain the same since we will be collecting double the amount of waste on the next scheduled visit.
What if I want to skip a service day?
If the dog will be gone from the yard for a week or two, or for some other reason you want us to skip your yard, we can hold service and you will not be charged for those days. However, please note that if your dog is still continuing to use the yard; while service is on hold, rates remain the same and there may be an additional charge on your next visit due to the additional accumulation of waste.
What about Holidays?
We do not work the following Holidays / Days:
Service returns to your regular service day the following week. Your monthly rate will remain the same since we will be collecting double the amount of waste on the next scheduled visit. Please note that the week of Christmas and New Years we do our best to move yards up one of those two weeks so that no one is skipped two weeks in a row.
You are only billed for 51 weeks so that we can take one week of vacation per year.
What We Cannot Do:
Doodie Deeds takes pride in making sure you are completely satisfied with the work we perform, so if there is ever a time when you are not satisfied please let us know and we will re-turn that day or the next day to make it right.
Thank you very much for allowing us to take care of the "Doodie Deed" of pet ownership.
